I Segreti Del Borgo Villa Penna in Teverina

Review by hotel critic

Our stay at I Segreti Del Borgo was a delightful escape to a beautifully restored farmhouse, nestled in the serene countryside just a short drive from Orte. The air-conditioned suite we stayed in was a luxurious retreat, featuring a romantic four-poster bed and a spacious marble bathroom with double wash basins. The on-site restaurant, although unexpectedly closed for a private event one evening, surprised us with a generous and delicious meal when we expressed our disappointment. The hospitality of the staff, matched only by the friendliness of the resident ginger cat, truly made our experience feel personal and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool, surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains and orchards. The option for room service was a convenient touch, allowing us to unwind in the comfort of our uniquely decorated suite after a day of exploring the farm's activities, such as horse riding and archery lessons.I Segreti Del Borgo offers a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Italian countryside.
